One of the best cafés in the Kakkanad area. The funny thing is that at the same location, just opposite, another café (Forward Cafe) is running—and both are great in their own way. Poems Café stands out with its beautiful interior, pleasant outdoor seating, and a calm vibe. The food is amazing and there isn’t much waiting time compared to Forward. Tried the pasta, beef sandwich, iced blueberry tea, and coffee—every item was really good. Definitely recommended for a relaxed café experience.

A nice cafe with great ambience and food. Service is also top notch. Have ample space for parking with inside and outside seating spaces. Out of the food we tried I liked the beef stroganoff and pink sauce pasta best.
I recently visited Poems Café in Kakkanad for a team lunch. They offer a separate space for gatherings, which we had booked in advance. We opted for starters and a main course. For the mains, we tried the beef burgers, veg lasagna, pizza, and sandwiches. The beef burger and sandwich were decent, while the pizza had a generous portion size, enough to serve 2–3 people. The veg lasagna, however, was a bit disappointing. They have a selection of about 10 starters — I tried 6 of them, and all were good. I’d especially recommend the honey garlic chicken. I’m planning to try their shakes on my next visit, as they seem promising. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but for an occasional gathering, it’s still a nice option. Overall, it’s a cozy café with good customer service and parking space available — a convenient spot for small group hangouts
It's a nice space they've made. There's seating inside and out, which is cool. It's near the field, so you can see the crops change with the seasons. We had a cappuccino and a chocolate pastry, and it was good.
Visited Poems Art Cafe with two friends and had a great time. The space is quite small, so it felt a bit crowded even with just a few people inside. We ordered pasta and two mojitos. Both were tasty and the quantity was good enough for all three of us. The cafe also has plenty of aesthetic spots that are perfect for photos.
A cozy and quiet place with good decor. The dishes were garnished well and the taste is great. The greenery around and the not too loud music made it a good experience. One star was lost to the rather hard chunks of 'chicken in mushroom sauce'. Tender meat would have made it better. Not sure if it was the meat being not tender or it's not cooked enough. The portions are also modest, with main course items falling short of a decent meal in terms of food quantity Dessert options were limited, and some items in the list were not available.
